Sweet carrots
- 2 tablespoons of Cristal de Caña sugar
- 2 pounds of baby carrots
- ½ onion
- 4 ounces of margarine
- Salt to taste
- Peel the carrots and cut them into slices.
- Place the carrots in a pot with cold water, add the onion, and cook until the carrots become soft.
- Remove the onion, add the sugar, salt, margarine, and continue cooking with the pot covered.
- When the carrots turn golden brown, take them out and serve them hot.
