Ingredients
  • ½ cup of Cristal de Caña sugar
  • 1 pound of chacá corn (hydrated in 10 cups of water)
  • 1 can of condensed milk
  • 1 cup of coconut milk
  • 2 cups of evaporated milk
  • 2 tablespoons of butter
  • 8 cloves
  • 2 large pieces of cinnamon
  • 1/3 cup of raisins
  • ¼ teaspoon of ground nutmeg
Preparation
  1. Soften the corn in a pot.
  2. Add the three types of milk and the other ingredients (reserving the raisins for the end).
  3. Cook for 30 minutes until it thickens.
  4. Reduce the heat, add the raisins, and cook for another 10 minutes.
  5. Remove from the heat, let it rest for about 20 minutes, and serve.
