- 1 ½ tablespoons Cristal de Caña brown sugar
- ½ tablespoon Cristal de Caña refined sugar (for sprinkling)
- 2 cups sweet potato puree
- 1 tablespoon flour
- 1 egg
- Oil
Preparation
- Mix the sweet potato puree, brown sugar, flour, and egg until a stiff dough is formed
- Make 8 small balls with the dough
- Heat the oil in a deep frying pan and fry the balls until they turn golden brown
- Drain the balls, place them on a plate and, before serving, sprinkle them over with the refined or brown sugar
