  • 3 teaspoons of Cristal de Caña sugar
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 cup condensed milk
  • 1 cup evaporated milk
  • ½ cup rum
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch dissolved in milk
  • ½ box raisins
  • 1 egg, beaten and strained
  • Chopped walnuts
Preparation
  1. This sauce is perfect for the three-ingredients sponge cake featured in our dessert section.
  2. When the cake is ready, just mix all the ingredients, stirring constantly.
  3. Bathe the sponge cake with the sauce and, finally, cover it with the chopped walnuts. If you wish, you can add a splash of cognac to the mixture.
