- 3 teaspoons of Cristal de Caña sugar
- 1 cup milk
- 1 cup condensed milk
- 1 cup evaporated milk
- ½ cup rum
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch dissolved in milk
- ½ box raisins
- 1 egg, beaten and strained
- Chopped walnuts
Preparation
- This sauce is perfect for the three-ingredients sponge cake featured in our dessert section.
- When the cake is ready, just mix all the ingredients, stirring constantly.
- Bathe the sponge cake with the sauce and, finally, cover it with the chopped walnuts. If you wish, you can add a splash of cognac to the mixture.
