Red Fruit Jam
- 1 cup of Cristal de Caña sugar
- 1 package of frozen berries
- 1 squeezed lemon
- 1 sachet of unflavored gelatin
- Defrost the berries and mix them over medium heat with the sugar and the gelatin.
- When the mixture starts to boil, drop the heat to the minimum and add the lemon juice.
- Let it boil for about 30 minutes, stirring constantly.
- When the berries become soft, separate half of the mixture, blend it, and then pour it back into the saucepan. Stir for 20 more minutes until it becomes thick.
- Remove from the heat and let it cool completely.
- Pack the jam in a glass jar and store it in the refrigerator. Remember to use it within two weeks.
