Ingredients
  • 1 cup of Cristal de Caña sugar
  • 1 package of frozen berries
  • 1 squeezed lemon
  • 1 sachet of unflavored gelatin
Preparation
  1. Defrost the berries and mix them over medium heat with the sugar and the gelatin.
  2. When the mixture starts to boil, drop the heat to the minimum and add the lemon juice.
  3. Let it boil for about 30 minutes, stirring constantly.
  4. When the berries become soft, separate half of the mixture, blend it, and then pour it back into the saucepan. Stir for 20 more minutes until it becomes thick.
  5. Remove from the heat and let it cool completely.
  6. Pack the jam in a glass jar and store it in the refrigerator. Remember to use it within two weeks.
