Chia and fruit pudding

Ingredients
  • ¼ cup Cristal de Caña sugar
  • ¼ cup chia seeds
  • 2 cups of milk (can be almond or coconut)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ½ cup fresh fruit (such as mango, strawberries, blueberries)
  • Honey or syrup (optional, for garnish)
Preparation
  1. In a bowl, mix the chia seeds, milk, sugar and vanilla extract.
  2. Stir well to prevent the chia seeds from clumping.
  3. Cover the bowl and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight, so that the chia seeds absorb the liquid and form a thick pudding.
  4. Serve the pudding in individual glasses and decorate with fresh fruit and a little honey or syrup if desired.
