  • ¼ cup Cristal de Caña sugar
  • 2 cups of oat flakes
  • ¼ cup honey
  • ¼ cup melted butter
  • ¼ cup chocolate chips (optional)
  • ¼ cup raisins (optional)
  • ¼ cup chopped sunflower seeds or chopped walnuts (optional)
Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C) and line an 8x8” square pan with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, mix the oats, sugar, honey and melted butter.
  3. Add the chocolate chips, raisins and seeds or nuts (optional).
  4. Press the mixture firmly into the prepared pan.
  5. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the bars are golden brown on the edges.
  6. Let cool completely before cutting into bars and serving.
