Ingredients
  • 2 tablespoons of Cristal de Caña sugar
  • 2 pounds of baby carrots
  • ½ onion
  • 4 ounces of margarine
  • Salt to taste
Preparation
  1. Peel the carrots and cut them into slices.
  2. Place the carrots in a pot with cold water, add the onion, and cook until the carrots become soft.
  3. Remove the onion, add the sugar, salt, margarine, and continue cooking with the pot covered.
  4. When the carrots turn golden brown, take them out and serve them hot.
