Ingredients
- ½ cup of Cristal de Caña sugar
- 1 pound of chacá corn (hydrated in 10 cups of water)
- 1 can of condensed milk
- 1 cup of coconut milk
- 2 cups of evaporated milk
- 2 tablespoons of butter
- 8 cloves
- 2 large pieces of cinnamon
- 1/3 cup of raisins
- ¼ teaspoon of ground nutmeg
Preparation
- Soften the corn in a pot.
- Add the three types of milk and the other ingredients (reserving the raisins for the end).
- Cook for 30 minutes until it thickens.
- Reduce the heat, add the raisins, and cook for another 10 minutes.
- Remove from the heat, let it rest for about 20 minutes, and serve.
