Ingredients
- 1 pound of Cristal de Caña sugar
- ½ additional cup of Cristal de Caña sugar (for the caramel)
- 1 pound of white cream cheese
- 1 cup of milk
- 4 eggs
- 4 tablespoons of cornstarch
- ¼ cup water
- 1 vanilla teaspoon
Preparation
- Beat the egg whites until stiff
- Add the egg yolks one by one, then the sugar and beat well
- Dissolve the cornstarch with the milk
- Add the grated white cheese, the vanilla, and add the beaten eggs
- Put everything in a caramelized mold, in a bain-marie, for one hour
