Ingredients
- For the sauce:
- ¼ cup of Cristal de Caña sugar
- ½ cup of boiling water
- 1 teaspoon of salt
- ¼ cup of vinegar
- For the vegetables:
- 2 carrots
- 2 cucumbers
- 1 white onion
- 1 red bell pepper
Preparation
- Cut the carrots and cucumbers into thin slices, and the onion and red bell pepper into julienne strips. Place all the vegetables in a container.
- Mix the sugar with the boiling water, add the salt, and finally, the vinegar.
- Cover the vegetables with this sauce and let it cool before serving.
