Ingredients
  • For the sauce:
  • ¼ cup of Cristal de Caña sugar
  • ½ cup of boiling water
  • 1 teaspoon of salt
  • ¼ cup of vinegar
  • For the vegetables:
  • 2 carrots
  • 2 cucumbers
  • 1 white onion
  • 1 red bell pepper
Preparation
  1. Cut the carrots and cucumbers into thin slices, and the onion and red bell pepper into julienne strips. Place all the vegetables in a container.
  2. Mix the sugar with the boiling water, add the salt, and finally, the vinegar.
  3. Cover the vegetables with this sauce and let it cool before serving.
