- ½ cup Cristal de Caña sugar
- 2 mashed bananas
- ¼ cup vegetable oil
- 1 egg
- 1 cup wheat flour
- ½ cup whole wheat flour
- ½ teaspoon baking soda
- ½ teaspoon baking powder
- ¼ cup milk
- ¼ cup chocolate chips
Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C) and grease a muffin pan or place paper cups inside it.
- In a large bowl, mix the mashed bananas, sugar, oil and egg until well combined.
- In another bowl, sift together the flours, baking soda and baking powder.
- Add the dry ingredients to the banana mixture, alternating with the milk, and mix until the dough is smooth.
- Stir in the chocolate chips.
- Fill the muffin pan up to ¾ of its capacity with the dough.
- Bake for 18-20 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Let cool before unmolding and serving.
