Ingredients
- 1 pound Cristal de Caña sugar
- 1 peeled and shredded coconut in slices
- 1 teaspoon ginger
- 1 tablespoon lemon zest
- 1 tablespoon of baking soda
Preparation
- Boil the coconut with all the ingredients in a cup of water
- Remove from the heat when the mixture becomes a consistent dough, and all the water has been consumed
- Spread the dough (keeping a thickness of one inch) on an aluminum baking pan
- Let cool and cut into squares
