  • 1 pound of Cristal de Caña sugar
  • ½ additional cup of Cristal de Caña sugar (for the caramel)
  • 1 pound of white cream cheese
  • 1 cup of milk
  • 4 eggs
  • 4 tablespoons of cornstarch
  • ¼ cup water
  • 1 vanilla teaspoon
Preparation
  1. Beat the egg whites until stiff
  2. Add the egg yolks one by one, then the sugar and beat well
  3. Dissolve the cornstarch with the milk
  4. Add the grated white cheese, the vanilla, and add the beaten eggs
  5. Put everything in a caramelized mold, in a bain-marie, for one hour
