Cherry cupcakes
- 1 cup Cristal de Caña sugar
- 12 chopped cherries
- 2 tablespoons natural cherry juice
- 1 stick margarine
- 1 cup milk
- 2 grated lemons
- 1 cup flour
- 2 eggs
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- Beat the margarine and sugar until you get a thick spread
- Add the eggs, cherries, lemon zest, flour, baking powder, milk, and cherry juice
- Fill the cupcake or muffin baking pans with this mixture
- Bake at 300ºF for 20 minutes
