  • 1 cup Cristal de Caña sugar
  • 12 chopped cherries
  • 2 tablespoons natural cherry juice
  • 1 stick margarine
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 grated lemons
  • 1 cup flour
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
Preparation
  1. Beat the margarine and sugar until you get a thick spread
  2. Add the eggs, cherries, lemon zest, flour, baking powder, milk, and cherry juice
  3. Fill the cupcake or muffin baking pans with this mixture
  4. Bake at 300ºF for 20 minutes
