Pear mousse
- ½ cup Cristal de Caña sugar
- 1 large can of pears in syrup
- 1 pound of cream cheese
- 1 sachet unflavored gelatin diluted in ½ cup cold water
- 24 large sized white marshmallows.
- Heat the syrup from the pears with the marshmallows
- Blend this mixture with the sugar, cream cheese and gelatin
- Cut the pears into thin slices and place them in a pan
- Pour the mixture over the pears and refrigerate before removing from the pan
